Juvenile

The current Skerries Harps Juvenile Section was formed in 1990 with just 3 boy's football teams.  From humble beginnings, it has grown to over 100 teams across all 4 codes: camogie, football, hurling, and ladies football.    We have a huge team of dedicated mentors who volunteer their time to coach our young members, all with the aim of promoting fun, enjoyment and to ensure each of our young members reach their potential, proving all with an opportunity to play and grow. Inclusivity is key to our Juvenile teams and we welcome players of all abilities.

In addition to playing and training activities, our Juvenile Section works closely with the Health & Wellbeing Committee on initiatives such as the Monthly Youth Cáfe and tailored events/seminars aimed at supporting our players at various stages in their development.

Our Juvenile Section is led by our dedicated Committee, Chairperson Michael Geoghegan, Vice Chairperson Seamus Banim & Juvenile Secretary Gerry Connolly. Partnering with our GPO Katelyn O'Brien, this key part of our club manages the Academy and ensures that Coaching & Development & Coach Education of the highest standard is made available to coaches/parents/mentors.
