Juvenile Games Round Up (27/28/29 Sept 2024)

A mixed bag of weather over the weekend, saw some of our teams enjoying bright sunshine for their matches and others braving wintry conditions to fulfil fixtures. Our Juvenile section play in rain, hail and shine and always give their all! We are very proud of them and their hard work at training each week.

U8 BOYS

Our U8 boys played Erin's Isle in an early fixture on Saturday morning at home in Kelly's Bay. We had 3 teams kit out and play great games of football against our opponents. Great teamwork and great support for our young harps.

U9 BOYS

This weekend the U9 Boys travelled to the Phoenix Park Sports Grounds with two football teams and played against St. Oliver Plunkett's.

They played brilliantly and enjoyed the challenge. Some great play individually and as a team. It's great to see the boys confidence growing. Can't beat a good match on a Saturday morning

U11 Girls

The U11s fielded an impressive team of 30 girls to play camogie against O’Dwyers on Saturday at Townsparks pitch. The sun was out and the girls were on top form. They played three challenging matches and remained strong to the end. It’s great to see the girls putting all the skills from training into practice and improving every week.

Two excellent away games of Camoige against Erin Go Bragh for the U12 girls this weekend.  Very competitive, lots of linking up and skills on show - highly enjoyable to watch. Well done team

U13 Boys

U14 Boys Hurling

The U14 hurling team had a tough Div 3 CUP Semi Final against a very strong Raheny side at Townparks on Sat afternoon. The lads battled to the final whistle but unfortunately it wasn't to be for this hardworking & talented group of young hurlers. They had a superb season with an unbeaten run until this semi-final and should be very proud of their dedication to training and skill improvement all season. Onwards and upwards for Féile next year at U15 ! Thanks also to the U13's who subbed up this season.

Thanks to all who continue to share updates and images each week! Our thriving Juvenile section is the heartbeat of our club and its important to recognise the efforts our youngest members put in week after week in training and matches - not to mention our superb volunteer coaches!
