Another jam packed weekend of both home & away fixtures for our U8-U16 teams across all 4 codes! So many boys & girls out enjoying the autumn conditions and improving their skills each weekend. Thanks to all our amazing volunteer mentors for the often unseen work they do to make it all happen!
And well done to all our young players
U8 (2016) Boys
Our 2016 boys had to don the bibs out in Castleknock. Some ferocious battles and the young Harps were more than able to hold their own. Some wonderful teamwork and great team spirit on display. These young lads are a credit to themselves, their Parents and the Club.
Thanks to Ronan Rasdale for the update/pics! Loads of happy hurlers!
U9 Boys
The U9 Boys played at home and fielded two hurling teams against Beann Eadair this weekend. The team's hurling skills are coming along very well. Putting into practice what they are learning at training which is great to see! Well done boys.
Shout out to the ever organised Marion Sweeney who is fantastic at providing updates for this great little group of lads!
U11 Boys
Our U11 Hurlers in local derby against St. Maurs. Great skill on display, our lads put in a strong performance and certainly enjoyed the game! All smiles after the match and made coaches and parents very proud. Thanks for all the support on the sidelines. Hon the harps

U15 Girls
Great weekend of football for U15s girls, 3rd round in championships
Div 3 were away to St Judes, very tough game that didn't go our way but the girls played super football as always! Nice home win for our div 10 girls v BSJ, great display of football, again thanks to U14s and U13s for helping on the day.
Both teams through to Cup semi finals!!!

U15 Boys
The U15 boys took on St Vincents in what was always going to be a tough fixture, even with home advantage. Vincents have had aa strong unbeaten run and despite great effort from the lads, they were too dominant to overcome. Thanks to the U14 lads for their support also.

U16 Boys
U16’s travelled south side to Clanna-Gael Fontenoy on Saturday afternoon for the second championship group game, knowing a win would guarantee progress to the knock-out stages.
On a perfect afternoon for football the early exchanges were tight with only a point separating the sides after 15mins. Harps pulled clear to lead by 9 points but conceded 1-1 just before HT to lead by 5 at the break.
The game remained tight throughout the second half and a terrific penalty save from Adam Griffin helped keep the Harps ahead, before a late Finn McGinnis goal sealed the win on a 4-12 to 3-07 scoreline.
A great effort from all the lads involved to overcome tough opposition away from home and secure a home tie in the knock-out stages!

U16 Girls
The under 16’s just lost to O Dwyers by four points and lost out on points difference for a place in the semis proper. The girls are now off to compete in the Shield competition and we have no doubt they will represent the club with pride and effort as they continue on their u16 football journey. Well done girls
