Club Notes June 22nd

Cúl Camp Update Following a review of the guidelines received from the GAA, facilities available & the logistics required to run camps the Club Executive have decided it is not feasible to proceed with Cúl Camps this year. The club's priority is the safety of the children & our coaches as well as the the children's enjoyment at the camps. We acknowledge there will be disappointment as our two Cúl Camps normally cater for around 600 children however this number would have been reduced significantly & led to more children being excluded than included. Safe Return to Gaelic Games The Covid-19 Club Education online module is now available & will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.  All stakeholders (players/team personnel/covid supervisors & parents/guardians of Juvenile players) are required to complete this module in advance of returning to training/games. It can be accessed at & you should either print your certificate or take a screenshot to send to your relevant team's Covid Supervisor. A short online health questionnaire will also need to be completed prior to attending the first training session & for subsequent sessions you will need attest online that nothing has changed since the health questionnaire was initially submitted. Only registered members who have completed the online module & have submitted the health questionnaire will be allowed attend & participate in training sessions. Zingo Result 21-June Zingo draw took place on Sunday evening, the numbers drawn were 1-6-4-5-3-2-7 & there were no winners of the Jackpot or Dividend.  Next week's Jackpot €1,800 Dividend €500.  As envelope sales remain suspended we would encourage regular weekly players to sign up online through the following link Zingo Online Sign up This is currently our only source of fundraising & any support you can give would be greatly appreciated

Pitch Maintenance

Thanks to the volunteers that have given there time over the past number of weeks to work on the maintenance carried out on our main pitch, your efforts are greatly appreciated. This Saturday we are completing some more work around the pitch/clubhouse so if you have an hour or two spare it would be greatly appreciated, contact if you can help out.

Dublin GAA's Coaching & Game Development There are still three webinars left in the Dublin GAA Coaching & Games Development six week series, presenters include our own Bryan Cullen (8th July) & GPO Louise Byrne this Wednesday (24th June). Any coaches or parents who are interested can find more details & registration info by clicking here

Supporting our local businesses As restrictions continue to be lifted & businesses reopen we would ask our members to shop local where possible. These businesses have supported our club over the years by sponsoring teams, pitch advertising, event advertising or by simply providing a raffle is our opportunity to support them over the coming weeks & months!
