Club notes 23.03.2022

Congratulations to Tim Deering and Joe Delaney who lined out with Dublin Minor footballers today in a comprehensive win over Louth.

Tim captained our u16 boys who won the A championship shield last season. Joseph has been a hugely influential player in our 2005 boys panel for the last number of years and we look forward to seeing both lads continue to develop in the blue of Skerries Harps and Dublin. Well done lads. We are proud of you.

The G4M&O’s team back training Monday nights at the back of the Main pitch. Great fun, always great training sessions suitable for all abilities. Give it a go this year if you’ve been thinking of taking up something. It’s once a week, it’s an hour for yourself and the fun and social element always guaranteed.

U14 Boys football Well done to the u14 boys football team who achieved their first win of the season 5-12 to 2-08 against Ranelagh Gaels at Townparks on Saturday.

Absolutely fantastic Camogie session given to our girls Sunday 20th. Big questions & Answers session was had, then a training match to finish. Was a super opportunity to answer all the girls & mentors' questions and have them understand all the new rules and maybe some of the old ones😉

We would like to say a massive Thank you to Clodagh Bolger and Karen Ellis who gave up 1 & 1/2 hours on Sunday to teach our girls team.

U12 girls first camogie match of the season to the club notes- they played against O’Dwyers away on Saturday.

Well done to all the girls today on their first camogie match of the season. Great skill and team work from everyone.

The kids had an absolute ball, the weather held out and the sun kept shining in the afternoon for loads of fun. People catching up with friends in the bar and kids playing on the pitch. Huge thanks to Peter Ellis and the lads who fed every child in the place and to Pat and the bar team for sling an unbelievable job keeping everyone’s thirst quenched.
