Club Notes 20th July

Weekend Results


Well done to our Adult Hurlers who had a good win over St Oliver Plunketts ER in their opening Championship game, final score was 2-18 to 3-8.  Our Adult Ladies Football Div 6 team lost to St Patricks (Donabate) on Friday night, 4-9 to 0-8.


Mixed results for our Minor Footballers with the 1st team losing to a strong Ballinteer St Johns side in the 'A' Championship while the 2nd team had a good win over Lucan Sarsfields


There were also a number of challenge games played, our U15 Footballers hosted St Colmcilles (Meath) while the U12 Boys travelled to Ballymun Kickhams for two games.

The Senior Championship match v Ballymun Kickhams is an all ticket game due to the restriction on numbers attending outdoor events still at a maximum of 200. 



Zingo Result 19-July Zingo draw took place on Sunday evening, the numbers drawn were 6-3-5-1-2-7-4 & there were no winners of the Jackpot or Dividend.  Next week's Jackpot €2,200 Dividend €700.  As envelope sales remain suspended we would encourage regular weekly players to sign up online through the following link Zingo Online Sign up This is currently our only source of fundraising & any support you can give would be greatly appreciated!

Full details can be found on www.progressivecu.ie/Bursary2020 Bereavements The club wishes to extend it's sympathies to the family & friends of Dave (Noel) Fenton who passed away at the weekend. Dave coached & mentored Juvenile Camogie teams for many years & those he trained have very fond memories of him. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis. The club also extends it's sympathies to Chris Davies & his family following the sad passing of Chris's mother, Joanne Downey, at the weekend. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.
