Physio session for Adult teams

Thank you to Chris Keane for doing a very good session with the Adult and Minor girls this week in the Club.The session was all about importance of stretching ,warm ups etc.. and looking after the body. Very interesting session and great feedback from all that attended.

Juvenile Update


Congratulations to the Lauren Fanning who graduated from the LGFA inaugural BUA programme last Saturday.


BUA is a self-development initiative which has been designed to support young people in the LGFA as they develop leadership skills and qualities to benefit their local communities.


31 participants were selected nationally to engage in learning covering topics essential for young people, including communication, leadership, resilience, dealing with change, building trust and respect, conflict resolution, problem solving, project planning and delegation as well as some LGFA specific topics including introductions to coaching, officiating and administration.

U12 girls

The girls had great afternoon on Saturday 12th February in O’Dwyers to start the season as U12’s. The girls really rose to the challenge and played brilliant, all mentors were so impressed with their skills. Looking forward to a great season ahead!

We had no winners of the jackpot but we had a dividend winner Liam Reddin who wins €300.

We did amazing with this fundraiser last year and all support was very much appreciated. This fundraiser goes towards club development and running. We’re very proud of our One Club ethos and the level playing field we have in Skerries Harps, any funds will go to ensure we continue our clubs development for the benefit of all giving everyone the best start and support. We’re hugely proud of the win last year. Your support this year if shopping in Lidl would be great again, we’ve a Leinster title in shopping to defend this year!

Volunteers evening

We are holding a volunteers evening on Wednesday March 2nd At 8pm. We’ve loads of small and big jobs to chat about and offer out as we’ve loads to do for the club and community this year.


Fill in our Volunteer form, turn up to our evening or simply get in touch with any of volunteers or executive to find out areas you might enjoy involvement with the club. Just one hour a week is the ask and every hour makes a huge difference.
