Adult team news

The draws for the 2022 Go Ahead Dublin Championships have been made.

Match Report: Senior Ladies report v TSS

This was our 4th league game of the season and after a very impressive win last week we wanted to build on that performance and the girls didn't let us down. After an impressive win by the Senior men before us, the girls were under pressure to put in a good performance in front of a great crowd.

The game was a fantastic advert for ladies' Football. Two teams going at each other for 60 mins with no let-up.

TSS got the first 2 points of the game then we roared back with 3 fabulous goals.TSS then replied with a few scores but we finished the 1st half ahead by 4pts.

The 2nd half started a little slower but we got going again with a goal and a point in the first 10 minutes of the half.TSS hit back with their own goal to keep them in the game. A couple of injuries unsettled us for 10mins and this let TSS go ahead by 1 point with not much time remaining. The girls kept their cool and equalized soon after. We had a few more opportunities to win the game but we finished up 5-7 v 5-7.

We should have won but we were delighted with the best performance of the season from the girls.

Looking forward to next Wednesday v Ballinteer St John away at 7.30.

If we keep this level of performance up we wi definitely come home with 3 more points on the board.

Lyndsey Davey and the Dublin ladies met with all their fans after the match last Saturday eve, and of course, the most sought-after autograph and picture was with our own Lyndsey Davey. A huge well done and wish them all the best in-season ahead.

The Dublin minors are through to the Leinster final against Kildare! And huge well done to our own Tim Deering and Joe Delaney. 🤩 #coybib👕💙
